About Position:
We are seeking an experienced Programmer Developer - Denodo with strong expertise in Data Virtualization, Data Integration, and Enterprise Data Platforms. The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing, developing, and supporting enterprise-grade data virtualization solutions using the Denodo Platform. This role requires hands-on experience in Denodo development, data modeling, SQL optimization, API integration, and performance tuning.

What You'll Do:
- Design, develop, and maintain enterprise data virtualization solutions using Denodo Virtual DataPort (VDP).
- Create and manage base views, derived views, interface views, and reusable virtual data services.
- Design logical and physical virtualization layers to simplify enterprise-wide data access.
- Develop scalable and reusable virtual data models supporting reporting, analytics, and operational workloads.
- Implement and expose REST and SOAP web services through the Denodo Platform.
- Integrate structured and unstructured data from databases, cloud environments, files, APIs, and enterprise applications.
- Analyze source systems and convert business requirements into efficient virtualized data models.
- Collaborate with data engineering, analytics, reporting, and BI teams to deliver trusted data services.
- Perform data validation, reconciliation, and quality assurance activities.
- Develop and implement data integration strategies across heterogeneous enterprise environments.
- Optimize Denodo views, virtual data services, and SQL queries for performance and scalability.
- Implement caching mechanisms and query optimization techniques to improve response times.
- Monitor platform performance and proactively identify tuning opportunities.
- Troubleshoot and resolve data access, performance, integration, and production support issues.
- Develop and execute unit testing, integration testing, and deployment validation activities.
- Support User Acceptance Testing (UAT) and production release activities.
- Follow CI/CD, DevOps, and source control best practices for Denodo development.
- Prepare technical documentation, design specifications, deployment guides, and support documentation.
- Participate in Agile ceremonies including sprint planning, backlog refinement, stand-ups, reviews, and retrospectives.
- Provide application support, issue resolution, and knowledge transfer activities.
Expertise You'll Bring:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, Data Science, or a related discipline.
- 8 to 12 years of experience in Data Integration, Data Engineering, Data Warehousing, or Data Virtualization projects.
- Strong hands-on experience with Denodo Platform development and administration.
- Expertise in Denodo Virtual DataPort (VDP), view development, data services, and virtual data modeling.
- Strong understanding of Data Virtualization concepts and enterprise data architecture principles.
- Advanced SQL development and query optimization skills.
- Experience working with relational databases such as SQL Server, Oracle, PostgreSQL, and MySQL.
- Strong knowledge of Data Warehousing concepts, dimensional modeling, and reporting solutions.
- Experience implementing REST APIs, SOAP services, and web service integrations.
- Hands-on experience in enterprise data integration and heterogeneous data environments.
- Strong understanding of ETL/ELT concepts and modern data platform architectures.
- Proven experience in Denodo performance tuning, caching strategies, and query optimization.
- Ability to troubleshoot complex performance bottlenecks and data access issues.
- Experience supporting analytics, reporting, and business intelligence platforms.
- Familiarity with Databricks, Azure Synapse Analytics, Azure Data Factory, and modern cloud-based data ecosystems.
- Exposure to cloud-native data architectures and enterprise data modernization programs.
- Experience using Git, Azure DevOps, Jira, and software development lifecycle tools.
- Solid understanding of CI/CD pipelines and DevOps methodologies.
- Experience working in Agile and Scrum-based teams.
- Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving capabilities.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
- Ability to collaborate effectively across technical and business functions.
- Strong documentation and technical writing skills.
