This role is responsible for consolidating multi-source workplace data (space utilization, occupancy, service tickets, vendor performance, cost, safety/compliance, and employee experience data), converting it into accurate, timely, and decision-ready reports and dashboards, and partnering with stakeholders to drive data-informed workplace decisions. The role requires strong technical proficiency (Excel, PowerPoint, Power BI; Python is an added advantage), sound business judgement, and the ability to work independently in a fast-paced, in-office environment.Key ResponsibilitiesReporting & Data Operations- Publish accurate and timely weekly, bi-weekly, and monthly reports and dashboards to workplace and facilities leadership.- Process and deliver ad hoc reports and analyses on request, with quick turnaround and high accuracy.- Maintain reporting calendars, templates, and SOPs to ensure consistency and auditability of all published data.- Own end-to-end data quality — validation, reconciliation, and error-checking — before any report is published.Data Integration & Analysis- Extract, clean, and integrate data from multiple sources (facilities management systems, ticketing tools, badge/access data, vendor reports, surveys, finance data) into unified datasets.- Draw key inferences and trends from integrated data to support workplace strategy, space planning, and cost optimization.- Build and maintain interactive Power BI dashboards and self-service reporting tools for leadership and site teams.- Use Excel (advanced formulas, pivot tables, macros)
and PowerPoint to build management-ready analysis and presentations.- Where applicable, write Python scripts to automate recurring data extraction, cleansing, and reporting tasks.Strategic Leadership & Business Partnering- Translate leadership priorities into a structured analytics agenda for the workplace & facilities function.- Proactively identify opportunities where data can influence real-estate, space, cost, or experience decisions, and bring these forward with recommendations.- Support annual and quarterly workplace planning cycles with historical trend analysis and forward-looking projections.Data Governance- Establish and maintain data standards, definitions, and documentation (data dictionaries, source-of-truth mapping) for workplace data sets.- Ensure data privacy, access control, and confidentiality are maintained across all reporting, particularly for employee and vendor data.- Drive consistency in metrics and KPIs across sites/regions so leadership works off a single version of the truth.Analytics Competencies- Apply statistical and analytical techniques (trend analysis, variance analysis, forecasting) to workplace and facilities datasets.- Build scalable, reusable data models and dashboards rather than one-off manual reports.- Continuously improve reporting efficiency through automation and process simplification.Cross-Functional Collaboration- Work closely with Facilities Operations, Real Estate, Finance, HR, EHS & GPNS to source data and align on reporting requirements.- Act as a single point of contact for data and reporting queries from workplace stakeholders and leadership.Problem Solving- Diagnose root causes of data discrepancies, reporting delays, or gaps,
and implement corrective and preventive measures.- Respond effectively to urgent, ambiguous, or time-sensitive data requests from leadership with sound judgement.- Recommend practical, data-backed solutions to workplace challenges such as space underutilization, service SLA misses, or cost overruns.Required Skills & Technical Competencies- Advanced Excel- Strong working knowledge of Power BI (data modeling, DAX, dashboard design, report publishing).- Proficiency in PowerPoint for building executive-ready presentations.- Working knowledge of Python for scripting and automation is a strong plus.- Ability to work with large, multi-source datasets and integrate them into clean, structured formats.- Strong attention to detail, accuracy, and timeliness in a deadline-driven reporting environment.Domain Knowledge (Preferred)- Exposure to workplace management, facilities management, or corporate real estate data (space utilization, occupancy, ticketing/CAFM systems) is preferred but not mandatory.- Understanding of IT services industry operating norms and stakeholder expectations is an advantage.Qualifications & Experience- Graduate in any stream (mandatory); a background in analytics, statistics, commerce, or engineering is an added advantage.- Prior experience in a data/reporting/analytics role, ideally supporting a workplace, facilities, real estate, or operations function.- Demonstrated experience building dashboards and reports for leadership audiences.- Minimum of 10yrs of relevant experienceWork Location & Schedule- Based out of Bangalore.- Expected to report to office 5 days per week.Key Attributes for Success- Structured and detail-oriented, with a strong sense of ownership over data accuracy.- Comfortable operating independently while managing multiple stakeholders and deadlines.- Curious and proactive — looks beyond the reporting ask to surface insights that matter to leadership.- Explicit communicator, able to simplify complex data for non-technical stakeholders.
