To manage the financial planning, accounting, compliance, and cost-control functions for the port and infrastructure business, ensuring accurate financial reporting, regulatory compliance, and effective financial operations that support business growth and project execution.
Key Responsibilities
1. Financial Accounting & Reporting
- Prepare and finalize quarterly and annual financial statements in compliance with Ind AS.
- Maintain General Ledger (GL) accuracy, asset registers, ledger scrutiny, and project accounting records.
- Manage budgeting, variance analysis, and MIS reporting for management.
2. Taxation & Regulatory Compliance
- Manage direct and indirect tax compliance, including GST, TDS, and Income Tax, along with applicable port-sector regulations.
- Coordinate with statutory, internal, and tax auditors and ensure timely completion of audits.
- Ensure compliance with the Companies Act, Income Tax, GST, and other applicable regulations.
Qualifications & Experience
- Chartered Accountant (CA) – Mandatory
- 2–3 years of relevant experience
- Strong understanding of Ind AS, project accounting, taxation, and financial controls.
- Exposure to Tally is mandatory.
