We are seeking a dedicated and passionate IB PYP Mathematics Teacher to join IB school in Sarjapur, Bengaluru. The ideal candidate will be responsible for planning, executing, and evaluating inquiry-based mathematics instruction within the Primary Years Programme (PYP) framework, helping young learners develop strong numerical, analytical, and conceptual understanding.

Key Responsibilities

- Design and deliver engaging, student-centered, inquiry-based math lessons aligned with the IB PYP curriculum framework.

- Integrate mathematics meaningfully across Transdisciplinary Units of Inquiry.

- Assess and monitor student progress using diverse formative and summative assessment tools; maintain clear records of learning outcomes.

- Foster a supportive, inclusive, and collaborative classroom environment that encourages inquiry, critical thinking, and international-mindedness.

- Collaborate actively with grade-level team members, PYP Coordinators, and single-subject teachers for collaborative planning.

- Effectively communicate student growth, progress, and learning needs with parents through reports, conferences, and portfolios.

- Participate in school events,



professional development workshops, and IB training sessions.

Requirements

- Education: Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Mathematics, Education (B. Ed.), or a related field.

- Experience: Minimum 2–5 years of teaching experience, with direct experience teaching Mathematics within an IB PYP framework preferred.

- Curriculum Knowledge: Strong understanding of the IB PYP philosophy, learner profile attributes, and inquiry-based pedagogy.

- Skills: Excellent communication, classroom management, and organizational skills. Proficiency in integrating educational technology into daily learning.

Salary - 50K to70K
