Client Core Accounting footprint includes Accounts Payable and Fixed Assets as separate baseline seats (AP alone, and a combined AP/FA seat), reflecting how much of the ticket volume in this suite runs through payables and asset processing. This role covers the combined AP/FA scope at Senior Associate level, executing the functional design under a workstream lead rather than owning the client relationship outright.
What You'll Own
Gathering and documenting business requirements for AP and Fixed Assets, and running fit-gap analysis against current configuration.
Contributing to solution design -- process flow mapping and configuration workbooks -- and supporting proof-of-concepts for more complex AP/FA scenarios.
Guiding offshore resources on RICE object development for AP/FA, and drafting Functional Design Documents for lead review and sign-off.
Supporting integration design between AP/FA and Procurement, GL and banking interfaces, and applying Chart of Accounts mapping/Accounting Hub considerations to AP/FA transactions.
Writing test scripts and running SIT/UAT for AP/FA changes,
tracking defects, and running regression testing after Oracle's quarterly updates.
Supporting production deployment and go-live for AP/FA, then handling triage, bug fixes and enhancements afterward.
Contributing to the quarterly Oracle patch assessment for AP/FA -- evaluating recent features and regression risk.
Supporting month-end and year-end close for AP/FA, including reconciliation, period close, and 1099/1096 processing specifically.
What You Need to Bring
Three to six years with Oracle ERP Cloud Financials with real depth in Accounts Payable and Fixed Assets specifically.
Direct experience with 1099/1096 processing and period-close activities for AP/FA.
Comfort guiding offshore resources on RICE development and drafting design documentation independently.
A working understanding of how AP/FA integrates with Procurement, banking and GL in a single-ERP environment.
Coverage & Reporting
Reports to the GL/CM/FAH or Core Accounting workstream lead, working alongside the standalone AP Functional Analyst seat and the Fixed Asset Functional Analyst seat on adjacent parts of the same module family.
