About the Role

Client runs Financial Consolidation and Close (FCC) as part of its Oracle Cloud EPM footprint, alongside EDMCS, PBCS and ARCS. EPM as a whole runs about 20 active integrations today (projected to grow to 30 over three years) and generates roughly 250 tickets a month, most of them service requests rather than incidents -- so this seat spends more time on configuration and enhancement work than firefighting, but the close calendar still drives the rhythm of the month.

What You'll Own

Supporting month-end and year-end financial close cycles, making sure consolidations run on time and tie out.

Managing intercompany transactions, eliminations and balance sheet account reconciliation within FCC.

Developing and maintaining FCC metadata -- entities, dimensions and consolidation logic -- as the business evolves.

Building and optimizing FCC rules, calculations and workflows to improve efficiency and accuracy.

Providing technical support and troubleshooting for FCC issues and user inquiries as they come in.

Working with Finance, Accounting and IT to translate business requirements into system solutions rather than working from a spec in isolation.

Documenting processes,



procedures and system configurations for knowledge transfer and audit purposes -- this account has explicit SOP and KEDB currency requirements (updates within 10 business days of any change).

Identifying process-improvement and automation opportunities within the FCC workplace, and validating/reconciling consolidation results before they go out.

Training end users on FCC functionality and best practices.

What You Need to Bring

A solid grounding in financial close and consolidation accounting principles -- intercompany eliminations, balance sheet mapping, consolidation mechanics.

Proficiency with FCC metadata modeling, dimension hierarchies and consolidation rules, plus experience with EPM data integration/ETL processes.

Exposure to intercompany billing/transfer pricing and multi-currency, multi-GAAP consolidations.

A working knowledge of general ledger and financial accounting concepts broadly, not just the EPM side.

Coverage & Reporting

Reports into the EPM service tower alongside the PBCS, Narrative Reporting, ARCS and EDMCS analysts covering the same application suite. Standard coverage is 5:00 a.m.-9:00 p.m. ET, Monday-Friday, with 24x7 coverage during critical business events such as month-end, quarter-end and year-end close.
