About the Role

Need a agentic and generative AI as a scored capability across the AMS engagement -- Oracle-native AI adoption, automation of ticket classification and routing, and AI-assisted RCA are all in scope, and the account needs someone who can actually build and run that layer rather than just talk about it in a QBR deck.

This seat is the current baseline of one resource covering both steady-state AI support and the project/enhancement side of AI Engineering, so you'll move between the two depending on what the account needs that sprint.

What You'll Own

Building and maintaining MCP servers that connect Claude or similar LLMs to enterprise tools -- Slack, Jira, Confluence, Smartsheet, Google Drive, Git Hub -- including designing secure, well-scoped tool definitions and resource endpoints.

Debugging tool-call failures, schema mismatches and auth errors across those integrations when something in the chain stops working.

Maintaining and iterating on AI artifacts, browser-based AI automations, and API-powered internal applications built on the Claude API.

Prompt-engineering and tuning system prompts for accuracy, tone and task adherence, and supporting agentic workflows that involve multi-step tool use, memory and context management.

Monitoring LLM API usage, latency and cost, and proactively flagging anomalies before they become a bigger problem.

Writing Python or Node.js scripts to automate data pipelines, file processing and reporting, and building internal tools -- dashboards, CLI utilities, small web apps -- that the account actually uses.





Integrating with REST/GraphQL APIs and handling authentication flows (OAuth, API keys) as part of that build work.

Triaging and resolving issues raised by internal users on AI tools and workflows, and writing runbooks and troubleshooting guides clear enough for someone else to follow.

Coordinating asynchronously with onshore teams across time zones, since a chunk of this work happens outside a shared working day.

What You Need to Bring

Hands-on experience with the Anthropic Claude API (or a comparable LLM API) and Model Context Protocol (MCP), plus real prompt-engineering and agentic-workflow experience -- not just having read about these.

Working proficiency in Python or Node.js and REST API integration, with enough React/HTML/JS to build a working internal tool end to end.

Comfortable with Git/version control and JSON/data parsing.

Valuable instincts for auth, schema and integration-failure debugging, and clear written communication given the async, cross-time-zone coordination this role requires.

Coverage & Reporting

This role sits in the AI Engineering tower, one of the smaller resource pools on the account (current baseline: one AMS resource, one project/enhancement resource). Work is a mix of ticket-driven support and discrete AI Design & Development project work per the Fanatics technology roadmap, reported through the same governance cadence -- weekly/monthly SLA reporting, QBR AI scorecard -- as every other tower on the engagement. Any use of AI tools must follow client data-handling restrictions: no confidential, personal, credential or source-code data goes into a public or vendor-hosted AI tool without written Client approval.
