SERVICENOW LEAD DEVELOPER – DEVOPS

Summary
We are seeking an experienced professional to lead the strategic implementation and optimization of Dev Ops practices within the Service Now ecosystem. This pivotal role is designed for an individual with over eight years of industry tenure, specifically focused on IT Services, who will drive the integration of continuous integration and continuous deployment (CI/CD) pipelines. The successful candidate will serve as a key architect for governance, change management, and release automation, ensuring seamless delivery of high-quality solutions while maintaining strict adherence to ITIL standards.
Responsibilities

- Architect and oversee the end-to-end Service Now Dev Ops lifecycle, including the management of update sets and version control strategies.

- Design and implement robust CI/CD pipelines that automate deployment processes, minimizing manual intervention and reducing the risk of human error.

- Enforce Dev Ops change automation and governance protocols to ensure compliance with organizational policies and industry regulations.

- Manage source control integration to facilitate collaborative development and maintain a clear audit trail of all system modifications.

- Lead the execution of release and deployment processes, coordinating with stakeholders to ensure timely and successful delivery of new features and updates.

- Apply ITIL principles, specifically regarding Change and Release Management, to align technical deployments with business service continuity goals.





- Monitor and optimize deployment workflows to enhance efficiency and reliability across the Service Now platform.

RequirementsRequirements:

- Minimum of eight years of professional experience within the IT Services sector.

- Proven expertise in ITIL frameworks, with a strong focus on Change, Release, and Deployment management.

- Advanced proficiency in Service Now Dev Ops tools, including Update Set Management and Source Control Integration.

- Demonstrated ability to configure and maintain Version Control systems and CI/CD pipelines.

- In-depth knowledge of Release and Deployment processes within a complex enterprise setting.

- Experience in implementing Dev Ops Change Automation and establishing effective governance models.

- A salary expectation aligned with the market rate of ₹50 LPA for this level of seniority and specialization.
