Fiserv Snap Pay is Client's Oracle credit card gateway and it's currently a single-resource seat in the baseline -- which means whoever holds this role is the entire institutional knowledge for this integration. Given the payment-processing and PCI-DSS weight this integration carries, Client is looking to run it at Manager level: someone accountable for the outcome, not just the ticket queue.
What You'll Own
Owning production and non-production configuration support for the Snap Pay-to-Oracle gateway.
Troubleshooting credit card process failures end to end -- authorization, capture, settlement -- and driving root cause rather than just clearing the ticket.
Supporting user access and provisioning for the gateway, with the audit discipline that PCI-DSS scope requires.
Managing sandbox and workplace promotion processes for gateway configuration changes.
Supporting SIT and UAT by resolving technical defects before they reach production.
Given the seniority of the seat,
also owning the parts this account's RFP calls out around this integration specifically: the Fiserv vendor relationship, escalation when Oracle Support and Fiserv both need to be in the room, and the reconciliation discipline between gateway settlement and Oracle Cash Management/GL.
What You Need to Bring
Six or more years supporting a payment-gateway integration into an ERP, ideally with Fiserv products and Oracle on the other end specifically.
A real understanding of the card-payment lifecycle and what PCI-DSS actually requires operationally, not just the compliance checklist.
Comfort being the sole owner of a small but high-accountability scope -- this is a one-person seat with senior-level expectations attached.
Experience managing a vendor relationship and running incident resolution when the root cause could sit on either side of an integration.
Coverage & Reporting
This is currently a standalone seat in the Fiserv Snap Pay tower with no dedicated project/enhancement allocation in the baseline, reporting through to the Core Accounting service tower given the Cash Management/GL reconciliation touchpoints.
