Mechanical Designer
The Process Piping Designer / Senior Designer will support and lead the delivery of process piping design and BIM modelling for Buildings projects across Stantec's global business. The role requires robust process piping design knowledge, advanced modelling capability in Autodesk Revit and Autodesk Plant 3D, and the ability to coordinate multidisciplinary deliverables while guiding a small team of designers.

Stantec is looking for Process Piping Designer with expertise in Buildings Process group, based in the Pune, India office.
The Process Piping Designer role conducts and supports the delivery of complete mechanical detail design drawings associated with the Buildings Process group.
Key Responsibilities
Review project scope, specifications, P&IDs; and design inputs, and plan work in line with the approved design intent.
Develop process piping layouts, equipment arrangements, general arrangements, sections, details, isometrics and orthographic drawings.
Create coordinated 3D process piping models using Autodesk Revit and Plant 3D.
Apply piping design principles covering routing, supports, access, maintenance and constructability.
Coordinate with multidisciplinary teams and use Navisworks to resolve interfaces and model clashes.
Apply project CAD/BIM standards and manage deliverables within approved Common Data Environments.
Perform QA/QC reviews and coordinate scope, priorities, schedules and deliverables with project leads.
Lead a small design team, review outputs, manage risks and maintain safe design practices.
