Assistant Director (Senior Manager) – Financial Due Diligence (FDD), GDS
Role Purpose
Lead and manage Financial Due Diligence and Vendor Due Diligence engagements delivered by GDS, ensuring high-quality execution, robust project management, coaching of teams, and seamless collaboration with onshore engagement leaders. Responsible for driving technical excellence, quality reviews, stakeholder management, and delivery of transaction-related analyses and reports.
Key Responsibilities
Engagement Delivery
• Lead buy-side and sell-side financial due diligence engagements.
• Manage preparation and review of databooks, quality of earnings analyses, working capital assessments, cash flow analyses,
net debt schedules and other transaction deliverables.
• Review engagement outputs to ensure conclusions are well supported by underlying analysis.
• Oversee report drafting support and consistency reviews between reports and databooks.
Team Leadership
• Supervise, coach and develop Managers, Seniors and Analysts.
• Allocate work across engagement teams and monitor delivery against deadlines.
• Provide guidance on analytical focus areas, issue resolution and presentation standards.
Quality & Risk Management
• Review the structure, completeness and relevance of IRLs and databooks.
• Ensure engagement deliverables comply with EY methodologies, quality standards and confidentiality requirements.
