The Role
• To perform assessments and provide service delivery, research or development work within agreed parameters that includes budget constraints and contractual requirements. Such services include office-based tasks for CAP, Condition surveys, and other SIAS jobs as follows:
• To produce SIAS / CAP reports to an agreed format and within an agreed timescale.
• To produce CAP FDA reports after analysis received from Naval Architect.
• To produce the thickness measurement CAP analysis report.
• To produce summary of class survey reports for the vessel.
• To summarize lube oil analysis report.
• To evaluate the condition of ship machinery and equipment using performance and maintenance reports.
• To provide administrative support to SIAS as when necessary
• To produce the deliverable within the agreed parameters in a defined format to time, budget and to quality.
• To discuss and present the deliverable with the internal client and be able to suggest solutions where appropriate.
• Conduct activities in line with internal procedures, accreditation schemes, legislation, and industry standards.
• To pursue Continuous Professional Development and maintain a high degree of discipline, knowledge, and awareness.
• To give guidance to other employees, as appropriate, and disseminate information to achieve effective knowledge transfer and application.
