Collaborate with tooling, sheet metal, machining, and casting teams to ensure designs are optimized for manufacturability /(DFM/) and assembly /(DFA/). Perform dimensional tolerance stack/-up analysis and verification checks on existing drawings to eliminate assembly fitment issues on the shop floor. Conduct field measurements and physical reverse engineering of existing machinery components to digitize accurate 2D CAD models and drawings.
