We are seeking a Silicon Photonics Engineer to join our innovative team focused on the development of cutting-edge photonic integrated circuits. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in silicon photonics and will be responsible for designing and implementing photonic ICs that meet the demands of our clients.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design and develop silicon photonic devices and circuits, ensuring they meet performance specifications.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate photonic components into larger systems.
- Utilize process design kits (PDK) for the development and simulation of photonic circuits.
- Manage multi-project wafer (MPW) runs and oversee tape-out processes to ensure timely delivery of prototypes.
- Conduct testing and validation of photonic devices to ensure they meet quality and performance standards.
- Stay updated with the latest advancements in silicon photonics and contribute to the continuous improvement of design methodologies.
Required Skills:
- Strong knowledge of silicon photonics and photonic integrated circuits (PIC).
- Proficiency in silicon design methodologies and tools.
- Experience with PDKs and understanding of MPW processes.
- Familiarity with tape-out procedures and testing of photonic devices.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to work in a collaborative setting.
