Tata Electronics (a wholly owned subsidiary of Tata Sons Pvt. Ltd.) is building India’s first AI-enabled state-of-the-art Semiconductor Foundry. About the Role

The IQC Engineer is responsible for ensuring that all incoming materials, components, packaging materials,



and consumables meet defined quality standards and customer requirements before release to production. The role involves incoming inspection, supplier quality monitoring, non-conformance management, and continuous improvement activities to support semiconductor assembly and test operations.

Key Responsibilities

Incoming Material Inspection

• Perform incoming inspection of raw materials, substrates, leadframes, IC packaging materials, chemicals, adhesives, trays, reels, and consumables.

• Review supplier Certificates of Analysis (COA), Certificates of Conformance (COC), and inspection reports.

• Conduct visual, dimensional, and functional inspections using quality tools and measuring equipment.

• Ensure inspection activities are completed per sampling plans and quality procedures.

Quality Control & Compliance

• Verify incoming materials comply with customer, regulatory, and internal specifications.
