Roles and Responsibilities:
- You prove the solution works before the client sees it. You own the test plan, write and run the test cases, and manage defects from sprint testing through SIT and UAT. Pricing accuracy is the heart of this role: every region, price book, margin and approval path must return the right answer.
Key Responsibilities
- Write the test plan and test cases from user stories and acceptance criteria, each traced to a requirement ID.
- Build the pricing and region test matrix: every region, category and SKU eligibility combination, price book, tier, override and percent-of-total charge.
- Verify margin calculations at line and quote level in both directions: price to margin and target margin to price.
- Test approval rules, alerts and aging reminders across submitter and approver roles.
- Test quote documents, including annotated photos, and the quote to order to contract flow with subscriptions and renewals.
- Test the Field Service handoff: work order creation, line item mapping and the mobile experience on phone and tablet.
- Run in-sprint functional testing,
regression testing and system integration testing; validate data loads.
- Log, triage and retest defects; report daily status and quality metrics.
- Prepare UAT data and support client testers through UAT, go-live checks and hypercare.
Must-Have Skills and Experience
- Salesforce functional testing experience on Sales Cloud plus CPQ or Revenue Cloud Advanced.
- Robust skill with numbers: able to hand-calculate expected prices, discounts and margins and spot rounding issues.
- Experience testing role-based security, approvals, and mobile behavior.
- Test management and defect tracking in Jira, Azure Dev Ops or similar.
- Able to write SOQL queries and use Data Loader to prepare and check test data.
- Clear written English for defect reports and test evidence.
Good To Have
- Salesforce Field Service testing, including the mobile app offline.
- Test automation with Provar, Copado Robotic Testing, Selenium or similar.
- Experience with AI-assisted test case generation.
- ISTQB certification.
Certifications
- Salesforce Certified Administrator
- ISTQB Foundation (preferred)
- Salesforce Revenue Cloud or CPQ certification (preferred).
