Job Description:

- We are seeking an experienced Ab Initio Application Support Engineer with 3 5 years of experience in both Ab Initio Development and Production Support
- The ideal candidate should have strong expertise in ETL development job monitoring incident management troubleshooting and performance optimization in a production environment

Key Responsibilities:

- Develop enhance and maintain ETL workflows using Ab Initio
- Provide L2 L3 production support for business critical data integration applications
- Monitor daily batch jobs and ensure successful execution within SLA timelines
- Analyze application failures troubleshoot issues and provide timely resolutions
- Perform root cause analysis RCA for production incidents and implement preventive measures
- Work with business users developers and infrastructure teams to resolve production issues
- Support application releases deployments and code migrations across environments
- Develop shell scripts and automation solutions to improve operational efficiency
- Optimize ETL jobs for performance and scalability
- Participate in on call support and weekend deployment activities as required




- Maintain support documentation SOPs and knowledge repository

Technical Requirements:

- 3 5 years of experience in Ab Initio Development and Application Support
- Strong hands on experience with
- Ab Initio GDE Graphical Development Environment
- Co Operating System
- EME Enterprise Meta Setting
- Conduct IT
- Strong SQL and database skills Oracle SQL Server Teradata etc
- - Experience with Unix Linux commands and Shell Scripting
- Knowledge of ETL Data Warehousing and Data Migration concepts
- Experience in incident management problem management and change management processes
- Exposure to job scheduling tools such as Control M Autosys or similar
- Ability to analyze logs and troubleshoot production issues efficiently
