About the role: HUFT's Lifestyle portfolio covers beds, toys, apparel, walking accessories, dining and travel products for dogs and cats, sold through our own stores and digital channels. We're looking for a commercial leader to own this business end to end, with full P&L; accountability for growth, gross margin and inventory health. This is a business role, not a design role. You'll work with our Founder and Creative team to turn a solid brand vision into a profitable, scalable portfolio.

What you'll do:

- Own revenue, gross margin and inventory health for the Lifestyle portfolio, and build the annual and seasonal business plans.
- Set the category and assortment strategy: decide what to scale, reprice, refresh or discontinue, and build strong hero and core ranges.
- Lead merchandise planning, demand forecasting and replenishment, tracking sell-through, stock turns, inventory ageing and markdowns.
- Give the creative team clear commercial briefs: target prices, volumes, launch windows and success measures.




- Build channel-specific assortments for retail stores and e-commerce, and visit stores regularly.
- Align merchandising, sourcing, supply chain, retail, e-commerce, marketing and finance around one Lifestyle plan.
- Lead and develop the Lifestyle merchandising team.

What you'll bring:

- 8–12 years in category management, merchandise planning or business leadership in fashion, lifestyle, home, kids, sporting goods, accessories or consumer retail.
- A track record of owning a sizeable category or portfolio with revenue, margin and inventory accountability.
- Hands-on experience with assortment planning, forecasting, open-to-buy (OTB) and inventory management.
- Omnichannel experience across owned retail and digital channels.
- Strong analytical judgement, combined with a genuine understanding of customers.
- The ability to work alongside creative teams and influence across functions.
