What is Good Food for Schools: Good Food Movement – School Edition is a 5-week programme to get children to set up their own vegetable garden, spearhead the journey of seed to harvest and revel in the joy of growing their own food.
The Associate – Valuable Food for Schools will play a key role in building, executing, documenting, and scaling the initiative across schools.
This role goes beyond workshop execution. The individual will help build relationships with schools, support parent engagement, coordinate storytelling/documentation, and contribute towards making the program a strong institutional brand property.

Key Responsibilities:
1. School Outreach & Pipeline:
• Build and manage a strong school pipeline across Bangalore and other focus cities
• Reach out to schools and position the value of the program to administrators and educators
• Support onboarding and coordination with partner schools
• Contribute towards achieving annual school engagement targets
2. Program Development & Delivery
• Design engaging and age appropriate lessons on soil health, sustainable agriculture, gardening techniques and healthy eating.
• Facilitate hands-on activities, workshops and discussions to spark student interest and active participation.
• Source materials for activities, ensuring they align with learning objectives.
3. Building Relationships
• Develop positive relationships with students, teachers and school staff to generate program enthusiasm and support.
• Act as a program ambassador, presenting to school administrators, educators and also parents about the Good Food Movement program.
4. Documentation & Storytelling
• Work closely with media and content teams to document school journeys
