Position
Post- Doctoral Research Associate - Jal Jeevan Mission

Purpose
Assist in carrying out high-quality empirical applied research in ruraldrinking water and sanitation sector to address sectoral challenges and facilities in the achievement of ‘Har Ghar Jal’ and ODF plus in ruralIndia and assistin related education capacity building and Training
and outreach activities.

Reporting to
Chair Professor, Jal Jeevan Mission

Principal Accountabilities & Responsibilities
• Assist in carrying out research projects and capacity building programmes.

• Work on datacollection, statistical tools/ MS Excel for dataanalysis.

• Assist in preparing draftreports and organizing training programmes.

• Co-ordinate with otherstakeholders

• Deliver periodic reports and presentations of findings.





• Perform otherrelated duties as assigned.

Qualification and Personal Profile
Candidates are required to hold a Ph.D. in Economics/ Management

Key Skill and Ability Requirements
• Excellent oraland written communication skills.

• Mature attitude with a capability to discuss coordination / research issueswith other stakeholder/team members.

• Knowledge of sources of data anddata collection methods

• Familiarity withstatistical tools for data analysis and report generation

• Excellent MS skillsare a must.

• Confident and self-motivated.

• Proven research skillsin any fieldof study

• Superior analytical skills with eye to details
