Role Purpose:
The Assistant Manager - Electrical is responsible for ensuring the safe, reliable, and productive operation of all electrical systems across the S&T; and D&F; Units through effective maintenance, reliability enhancement, energy management, statutory compliance, and project execution. The role leads the upkeep and continuous improvement of HT/LT power distribution systems, motors, drives, electrical panels, instrumentation interfaces, and utility electrical assets to support uninterrupted production, optimize energy performance, uphold electrical safety standards, and drive operational excellence through proactive maintenance and continuous improvement initiatives.
What you will do (Key Responsibilities):
Key Accountabilities
• Ensure high availability, reliability, and safe operation of all HT/LT electrical systems and assets across S&T; and D&F; Units.
• Optimise energy consumption, and maintenance costs through effective reliability and maintenance practices.
• Deliver efficient preventive,
predictive, condition-based, and breakdown maintenance programs for all electrical equipment and distribution systems.
• Provide timely electrical support to production, utilities, safety systems, projects, and continuous improvement initiatives.
• Ensure compliance with all statutory, regulatory, and company electrical safety requirements.
• Drive energy optimization, asset life enhancement, and operational excellence through continuous improvement and technology upgrades.
• Maintain critical site safety and fire protection systems in a healthy and compliant condition at all times.
