JobType: full-time
Key Responsibilities
• Design, develop, and maintain scalable QA automation frameworks.
• Develop automated test scripts using Playwright, JavaScript/TypeScript, and Cucumber/BDD.
• Perform functional, regression, smoke, integration, E2E, and API testing.
• Test and automate CTV/OTT applications across platforms such as Roku, Fire TV, Android TV, and Apple TV.
• Integrate automated testing with CI/CD pipelines.
• Analyze automation failures and perform root-cause analysis.
• Identify, report, and validate defects and fixes.
• Develop reusable automation components and improve test coverage.
• Participate in Agile/Scrum ceremonies, sprint planning, estimation, and release activities.
• Conduct automation code reviews and follow coding best practices.
• Mentor junior QA engineers and provide technical guidance.
• Work closely with Product, Development, DevOps, and other engineering teams.
Mandatory Skills
• 5 - 7 years of experience in QA Automation / Software Testing.
• Strong hands-on experience with Playwright.
• Robust programming skills in JavaScript and/or TypeScript.
• Hands-on experience with Cucumber / BDD.
• Strong experience in API testing/automation.
• Experience with CI/CD pipelines and Git.
• Experience testing CTV/OTT/streaming applications.
• Exposure to one or more platforms: Roku, Fire TV, Android TV, Apple TV.
• Good understanding of automation framework architecture, Page Object Model, reusable components, assertions, and test data management.
• Strong debugging and RCA skills.
• Good understanding of Agile/Scrum practices.
• Good communication and problem-solving skills.
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
