Role Description The Database Administrator will be responsible for managing, maintaining, and optimizing organizational databases to ensure security, reliability, and high performance. Day-to-day tasks include monitoring database health, performing backups and recovery, managing user access and permissions, and troubleshooting database-related issues. The role also involves collaborating with internal stakeholders to design and implement data models that support reporting, analytics, and operational processes, as well as documenting standards and procedures. This is a full-time, on-site position located in the Greater Agra Area, requiring close coordination with local teams and stakeholders. The successful candidate will help ensure that data systems effectively support our mission and operational needs.
Qualifications
• Strong skills in Database Administration and hands-on experience working with relational Databases.




• Proficiency in Database Design and Data Modeling to support scalable, secure, and productive data structures.
• Well-developed Analytical Skills for diagnosing performance issues, optimizing queries, and interpreting data requirements.
• Experience with backup, recovery, and disaster recovery planning, including implementation of security best practices.
• Familiarity with SQL and at least one major database platform (e.g., MySQL, PostgreSQL, SQL Server, Oracle).
• Ability to collaborate with technical and non-technical stakeholders and document database procedures clearly.
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
• Experience in an association, public sector, or construction-related environment is beneficial but not required.
