A Day in Your Life at MKS:
We are seeking a talented Mechanical Engineer to join our Engineering team in Bangalore. In this role, you will contribute to the design, development, testing, sustaining engineering, and documentation of advanced MKS products. In this role, you will report to the Bangalore Engineering Manager.

You Will Make an Impact By:
• Design, develop, document, build, and test vacuum, flow, plasma and pressure and related mechanical products.
• Generate and maintain engineering documentation, including specifications, drawings, bills of material, test plans, reports, and change orders.
• Create and maintain detailed 3D models, assemblies, and manufacturing drawings using CAD tools such as SolidWorks and Creo.
• Apply effective Geometric Dimensioning & Tolerancing (GD&T;) methodologies to ensure product functionality, manufacturability, and quality
• Support product verification activities including prototype builds, testing, data analysis, root-cause investigations, and design improvements.




• Independently manage engineering assignments while collaborating effectively with global cross-functional teams.

Skills You Bring:
• Bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering or a related discipline.
• Minimum 3 years of experience in mechanical product design and development.
• Experience working with Engineering Change Orders (ECOs) and Product Lifecycle Management (PLM) systems.
• Proficiency in 3D CAD modelling and engineering drawing creation, preferably using SolidWorks and/or Creo.
• Solid understanding of mechanical design principles, tolerance stack-up analysis, and GD&T.;
• Working knowledge of manufacturing processes including machining, welding, and mechanical assembly.
• Experience developing, building, and testing mechanical prototypes.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, written, and verbal communication skills.
