Core Responsibilities
1. Daily Operations: Manage inbound freight, loading, unloading, sorting, and outbound shipments.
2. Staff Leadership: Assign daily tasks, train recent workers, set shift schedules, and monitor performance.
3. Inventory Control: Track stock levels, run cycle counts, and resolve inventory discrepancies using warehouse software.
4. Safety & Compliance: Enforce workplace safety rules, conduct safety meetings, and maintain clean storage areas.
Key Requirements & Skills
1. Experience: 1 to 5 years of logistics or warehousing experience, including past supervisory roles.
2. Education: High school diploma; a degree in supply chain management or logistics is often preferred.
3. Technical Skills: Proficiency in Warehouse Management Systems (WMS), MS Office/Excel, and equipment operation like forklifts.
