We're looking for a detail-oriented and analytical Software Engineer with expertise in PL/SQL and Java to join our development team in Pune, India. In this role, you will design, develop, and maintain robust database-driven applications while collaborating with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality software solutions. You will be responsible for writing productive code, optimizing database performance, and ensuring adherence to best practices throughout the software development lifecycle.
- Develop and maintain applications using Java and PL/SQL, ensuring code quality and adherence to coding standards
- Design and optimize database schemas, stored procedures, and complex SQL queries for performance and scalability
- Analyze business requirements and translate them into technical specifications and efficient software solutions
- Collaborate with team members to review code, identify improvements, and implement best practices
- Participate in the full software development lifecycle, including design, development, testing, and deployment
- Troubleshoot and debug applications, identifying root causes and implementing effective solutions
- Document code functionality, system architecture, and technical processes for team reference and knowledge sharing
