We are seeking a skilled SAP ABAP Developer to join our IT Services team, where you will play a pivotal role in designing, developing, and maintaining robust enterprise solutions. This position is critical for driving digital transformation initiatives by leveraging modern SAP technologies to build scalable and efficient applications. The ideal candidate will possess a deep understanding of the SAP ecosystem, specifically focusing on the transition from traditional ABAP to the RESTful Application Programming Model (RAP) and SAP Fiori user interfaces. You will be instrumental in delivering clean core architectures that align with Agile methodologies, ensuring high-quality software delivery that meets complex business requirements.
Responsibilities
• Architect and implement clean core development strategies using SAP RAP to create modern, cloud-ready applications.
• Design and develop intuitive user interfaces utilizing SAP UI5 and Fiori standards to enhance user experience.
• Engineer efficient backend logic using ABAP and Object-Oriented ABAP (ABAP OO) to support complex business processes.
• Model and optimize Core Data Services (CDS) views to ensure high-performance data access and retrieval.
• Develop and manage OData services to facilitate seamless data exchange between frontend and backend systems.
• Collaborate within Agile development teams to deliver iterative updates, conduct code reviews, and ensure adherence to best practices.
• Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues related to application performance, data integrity, and system integration.
