Role Description The F&B; Executive – Cafe is a full time, on-site role based at The Shalimar Hotel in Mumbai. This role oversees the daily operations of the cafe, including coordinating food and beverage service, ensuring high standards of guest interaction, and supervising the service team to maintain efficient operations. Responsibilities include monitoring food quality and presentation, ensuring compliance with hygiene and safety standards, managing table reservations and seating, and handling guest feedback in a professional manner.



The F&B; Executive – Cafe also assists in menu planning, supports promotional activities, manages inventory and ordering, and collaborates with the kitchen and management to optimize revenue and guest experience.
Qualifications
• Strong Food & Beverage knowledge with experience in cafe or restaurant operations.
• Skills in Food Preparation and understanding of menu items to coordinate with the kitchen team.
• Experience in Food Service, including supervision of service staff and maintaining service standards.
• Knowledge of Food Safety practices and hygiene regulations, with a focus on compliance.
• Excellent Customer Service skills, with the ability to communicate clearly and handle guest concerns promptly.
• Relevant experience in hospitality, preferably in a 4-star or upscale hotel environment.
• Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays, as per business needs.
