Role Description This is a full-time, on-site Placement Manager role based at Amity University’s Ranchi campus. The Placement Manager will coordinate campus recruitment activities, build and maintain relationships with corporate partners, and identify current placement opportunities for students across various disciplines. Daily responsibilities include organizing placement drives, internships, and industry interactions; preparing students through workshops, mock interviews, and resume-building sessions; and tracking placement statistics and outcomes. The role involves collaborating closely with faculty, department heads, and administrative teams to align placement initiatives with academic programs and industry expectations. The Placement Manager will also represent the university to employers, collect feedback on student performance, and continuously improve placement processes to enhance student employability.
Qualifications
• Strong relationship management and networking skills with the ability to engage corporate recruiters, industry partners, and alumni.




• Experience in campus placements, talent acquisition, career services, or corporate HR, preferably within higher education or professional training environments.
• Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills for interacting with students, faculty, and employers.
• Ability to plan and execute events such as placement drives, career fairs, workshops, and employer outreach programs.
• Data analysis and reporting skills to track placement metrics, prepare dashboards, and generate insights for continuous improvement.
• Strong organizational and time-management capabilities, with attention to detail and the ability to handle multiple initiatives simultaneously.
• Comfort with using MS Office and basic digital tools for documentation, communication, and placement management systems.
