About the Role
We are looking for a highly skilled Senior Performance Engineer to join the Quality Engineering organization and drive the organization's performance engineering practice.
The role goes beyond traditional performance testing and focuses on building a performance-first engineering culture across Development, Quality Engineering, Architecture, DevOps, Product, and Operations teams.
The ideal candidate will have robust hands-on expertise in performance engineering, load testing, CI/CD integration, observability, scalability assessment, and performance optimization, along with excellent stakeholder management and communication skills.
Key Responsibilities
Performance Engineering & Quality
• Design, develop, and execute comprehensive performance, load, stress, endurance, volume, and scalability testing strategies.
• Develop and maintain performance testing frameworks, standards, and best practices.
• Analyze application, API, database,



and infrastructure performance to identify bottlenecks.
• Perform root cause analysis and provide actionable performance optimization recommendations.
• Establish performance baselines, benchmarks, SLAs, SLOs, and acceptance criteria.
• Collaborate with Product and Engineering teams to validate non-functional requirements.
• Drive shift-left performance testing throughout the software development lifecycle.
• Integrate performance testing into CI/CD and DevOps pipelines.

Performance Engineering Champion
• Act as the Performance Engineering Champion across product and engineering teams.
• Promote a performance-first mindset and engineering excellence culture.
• Drive adoption of performance engineering standards, best practices, and governance.
• Influence architectural decisions using data-driven performance insights.
• Lead performance reviews and communicate performance risks and recommendation
