Your Responsibilities
- Design & build advanced application features for the Android platform
- Craft project solutions by applying solid object oriented design principles
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define, design & ship new features
- Unit test code for robustness, including edge cases, usability & general reliability
- Work on bug fixing & improving application performance
- Continuously discover, evaluate & implement recent technologies to maximize development efficiency
Skill Sets/Experience We Require
- 0-6 months of experience in software development
- Proven experience with Java / Kotlin ( React Native is a Plus)
- Must be familiar with RESTful APIs to connect Android applications to back-end services
- Experience with offline storage, threading & performance tuning
- Knowledge of other web technologies and UI/UX standards
- Good understanding of Android design principles and interface guidelines
- Good understanding of code versioning tools like Bitbucket
Pedigree
- Bachelor’s/Master’s degree in Computer Science or related subject
- Relevant certifications
