Essential Duties & Responsibilities

1. Supervise and manage daily production responsibilities for assigned assembly line(s) and shifts.
2. Ensure adherence to quality system procedures, delivery commitments, and production targets.
3. Analyse issues, identify root causes, and implement corrective/preventive actions to avoid recurrence.
4. Apply lean manufacturing tools and concepts to improve efficiency, reduce waste, and enhance productivity.
5. Optimize assembly line setups to maximize throughput and maintain consistent product quality.
6. Collaborate with Manufacturing/Quality Engineering to support product development and process changes.
7. Provide guidance, on-the-job training, and multiskilling opportunities for operators and technicians.
8. Develop, implement, and maintain manufacturing sequences, specifications, equipment, and process requirements for new and existing products.
9. Support new product development as a manufacturing representative in cross-functional teams.
10. Prepare and implement Manufacturing Flow Charts, Standard Work, Control Plans, FMEAs, SOPs, Work Instructions, Job Cards, and Setup approvals in line with ISO and company standards.
11. Execute changes and improvements through the Engineering Change Notice (ECN) process.

Actively participate in new assembly line setups and layout modifications.
13. Coordinate and handle customer audits, process audits, and quality system audits.
14. Drive small automation projects and cycle time reduction initiatives.
15. Apply structured problem-solving tools such as 5W-1H, 5-Why, Fishbone, and other troubleshooting methods.
