POSITION SUMMARY We are seeking an experienced RMS Executive to safeguard the firm against trading and settlement risk. The role involves daily monitoring of client margins, exposure limits, and end-of-day (EOD) processes to ensure the brokerage operates within exchange-mandated risk parameters at all times. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES • Monitor real-time client exposure, margin utilisation, and trading limits across segments (Equity, F&O;, Currency, Commodity). • Upload and process EOD (End of Day) files accurately and within exchange deadlines. • Handle margin funding, margin shortfall reporting, and client-wise margin allocation (span + exposure + additional margin). • Set and revise client-wise trading limits based on collateral, ledger balance, and risk category. • Track and act on mark-to-market (MTM) losses; trigger square-off of positions as per risk policy when required. • Monitor for any suspicious trading patterns, circuit breaches, or abnormal volumes and escalate as required. • Prepare daily/weekly MIS reports on exposure, margin shortfall, and risk positions for management review. • Liaise with exchanges (NSE/BSE/MCX)
and clearing corporations on margin/settlement related matters. • Ensure timely peak margin reporting and compliance with SEBI/exchange risk management circulars. • Handle client payout/payin processing in coordination with the back-office team. REQUIRED SKILLS & COMPETENCIES • Robust knowledge of Risk Management Systems used in stock broking (RMS software/back-office systems). • Sound understanding of span margin, exposure margin, VaR, MTM, and peak margin norms. • Hands-on experience with EOD file uploads and margin file handling. • Strong analytical skills with high attention to detail and accuracy under time pressure. • Sound understanding of SEBI and exchange risk/margin regulations. ELIGIBILITY & REQUIREMENTS • Graduate in Commerce/Finance/Business Administration; MBA (Finance) preferred. • Minimum 3–4 years of experience in an RMS role within a stock broking or financial services firm. • Ability to work calmly and accurately under high-pressure, time-bound market conditions.
