Application for Postdoctoral Position – SARS-CoV-2 infection to cardiovascular disease (CVD).
We are seeking a highly motivated Postdoctoral Research Fellow to join an interdisciplinary research program investigating the molecular and immunological mechanisms linking SARS-CoV-2 infection to cardiovascular disease (CVD). The position is supported by a funded research grant and offers an exciting opportunity to work at the interface of infectious diseases, immunology, cardiovascular biology, and translational research.
Research Focus
The successful candidate will contribute to projects aimed at understanding:
• Host-pathogen interactions during SARS-CoV-2 infection
• Molecular pathways underlying cardiovascular complications associated with COVID-19
• Immune and inflammatory mechanisms driving cardiac dysfunction
• Translational approaches for identifying therapeutic targets and biomarkers
Qualifications
Applicants should have:
• A PhD in Molecular Biology, Immunology, Microbiology, Virology, Cell Biology, Cardiovascular Biology, Biotechnology,
or a related discipline
• Solid publication record in peer-reviewed journals
• Experience in one or more of the following:
• Mammalian cell culture and Virus culturing
• Omics approaches (RNA-seq, proteomics, metabolomics)
• Animal models of infectious diseases or cardiovascular disease
