What's In It For You

As an Engineer – Software Test at Trane, you will play a pivotal role in focusing on ensuring the quality, performance, and reliability of Residential HVAC Digital software and product applications along with supporting on security assessments of software applications, infrastructure, and systems.



Your primary responsibilities will include developing test cases, scenarios, based on user stories and actively engaging in the agile ceremonies. Execute both manual and automated test cases, troubleshoot and debug automated test scripts, and analyze results to identify and trace the root cause of anomalies or defects. You will collaborate closely with engineering teams, product development, and Product Owners to ensure seamless communication and the delivery of a high-quality product and able to work with cross-functional teams to identify and communicate security risks.

• Create test cases, scenarios, scripts from feature descriptions in JIRA board/test management tools.
• Participate in sprint activities like planning, stand-up meetings, Backlog and retrospective meetings.
