About Nyayadhi
Nyayadhi is building precision-driven AI tools that make legal research faster, smarter, and more reliable for Indian lawyers, in-house teams, and legal operations professionals.
Nyayadhi is designed for the realities of Indian law complex statutes, evolving precedents, and high-stakes outcomes where accuracy and trust truly matter. Nyayadhi offers an environment where legal and technology professionals collaborate to shape the future of legal research.
Role Description
We're looking for an experienced in law, commercially sharp, curious lawyer to join our core team. You'll be the bridge between legal expertise and product thinking, ensuring our AI tools are legally sound, compliant, and genuinely helpful for practicing lawyers.
This isn't a traditional in-house counsel role. You'll work closely with product, engineering, data science, and go-to-market teams to shape how AI understands legal language, cites authority, and supports real-world legal workflows. Your legal expertise is the substance of this role,

and we're looking for a practising specialist rather than a generalist.

What You'll Do
• Review the quality of legal work/information, assessing whether AI outputs are accurate, well-reasoned, and usable by practising lawyers.
• Write instruction specs and golden solutions that define what "correct" looks like for legal tasks in your area of specialisation.
• Build benchmarks that show whether the products are genuinely improving over time.
• Advise product and engineering teams on legal accuracy, risk, and compliance of AI-generated research outputs.
• Work closely with the Founder/CEO to help define guardrails for AI behaviour in legal contexts: citation standards, hallucination mitigation, confidentiality, and data usage.
• Review and validate training data sources, licensing terms, and permissible use of case law, statutes, and other reaserch materials.
• Partner with sales and customer success to address legal queries from enterprise clients
