Position in this function supports the Optum Insight business in the design, development, implementation and administration of compensation programs related to base salary, annual cash bonus plans, rewards and recognition initiatives, sales compensation, and equity compensation. Staying ahead of market trends and providing proactive solutions to help drive key business initiatives and priorities.

Primary Responsibilities

• Act as an internal and external consultant to the business,



responsible for building solid relationships with leaders of each business to ensure effective compensation solutions and strengthen engagement
• Works directly with People Business Partners on complex field-initiated projects to drive business results, generally with no oversight
• Work with the leadership in Compensation to proactively identify value added compensation initiatives
• Assist in the design of new and/or revised incentive or reward and recognition programs. Ensures programs and plans are competitive, cost effective, drive and reward a high-performance culture and are aligned with UnitedHealth Group's current and future strategic direction
• Work with leadership in Compensation to lead annual common review process, including planning, communications, analysis and management of key process areas
