Role Description
The Accounts Receivable Specialist supports cash flow and financial accuracy by managing customer accounts, collecting past-due balances, coordinating payment application, resolving billing discrepancies and maintaining accurate accounts receivable records. The role works closely with customers and internal teams, including Sales, Customer Service, Shipping and General Accounting,



to resolve account issues and ensure receivables are collected and recorded accurately and on time.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

COLLECTIONS AND CUSTOMER MANAGEMENT
•Review AR aging and prioritize collection activity based on risk, balance and delinquency.
•Follow up professionally by telephone and email on past-due invoices, payment status and commitments to pay.
•Provide invoice copies, statements, collection notices and supporting documentation when required.
•Maintain accurate records of customer communications, collection activity, commitments, disputes and resolutions.
•Coordinate with Sales, Customer Service, Shipping and other teams to resolve issues affecting payment.
CASH APPLICATION, RECONCILIATION AND DISPUTES
•Research unapplied, unidentified, short-paid or incorrectly applied payments.
•Assist the General Ledger team with accurate and timely application of ACH, wire, check, credit-card and other elect
