Job Title: Fashion Designer (Kids' Apparel & Merchandise)

Location: Unitech Cyber Park, Sector 39, Gurugram (Gurgaon), Haryana. In-office.
Employment Type: Full time, in-office

Experience: 2–5 years in apparel or product design, preferably in kids' wear, graphic apparel or print-led products. Experience is a must, and the quality of your finished work matters as much as the years.
Preferred Academic Background: Fashion Design, Apparel Design, Textile Design, Product Design or a related field from a recognised institute. Preferred, with a portfolio of finished products carrying the most weight.

Role Overview
JJW aims to be India's Disney, and great characters need great products. Merchandise is how our stories reach homes, wardrobes and playrooms.
JJW is building a merchandise and children's fashion line around its original characters. This role goes well beyond sketching. You will take a design from Concept → Design → Tech Pack → Print File → Sampling → Production → Final Product,



and make sure what reaches a child matches what was approved.
You will shape the visual identity of JJW products, and help the range expand beyond clothing into other children's products.
What You Will Own
• Design of JJW apparel: T-shirts, co-ord sets, sweatshirts, bottoms and printed character merchandise
• Collections, prints, graphics, colourways and placements
• Tech packs and print-ready artwork
• Sampling, review and revision cycles with vendors
• The final quality of product against approved design

Key Responsibilities
Design
• Create original designs and develop collections around JJW characters and stories
• Build print concepts, graphics, typography, colourways and placement designs
• Research trends and competitors, and build moodboards and design direction
• Develop children's fashion concepts that are appealing, comfortable and commercially viable
Technical
• Prepare accurate tech packs: specifications, measurements
