About The Role
As an experienced Prosthetist, you are responsible for delivering advanced prosthetic services that support clients in achieving their identified goals and outcomes, while providing clinical leadership and professional expertise across the organisation. Responsibilities at this level are performed with a high degree of autonomy and professional judgement. The clinician is expected to provide clinical leadership, advanced decision-making and support to less experienced clinicians while contributing to high-quality patient outcomes and service excellence.
While the role has a significant upper limb focus, the successful applicant will also contribute to the assessment, prescription and management of lower limb prosthetic patients,
supporting a diverse and rewarding clinical caseload across our service.

Key Responsibilities
• Deliver assessment, prescription, fitting and review services across upper and lower limb prosthetic caseloads
• Manage complex congenital, traumatic and acquired limb difference presentations
• Provide upper limb prosthetic assessment and rehabilitation services, including body-powered, myoelectric and emerging prosthetic technologies
• Maintain broad clinical involvement in lower limb prosthetic management and rehabilitation
• Collaborate with surgeons, therapists, rehabilitation physicians and multidisciplinary teams to optimise patient outcomes
