About PrvntPrvnt is a concierge medicine practice in Chennai that looks after a small number of families, a year at a time. Each member has a physician of their own and a senior doctor above that physician, with a panel of specialists behind both.

The year starts with deep diagnostics and a written plan signed by the panel. Results are measured again at four, eight and twelve months.

Prvnt also runs the same medicine inside partner organisations, including a senior-living community and a hospital joint venture. A UAE practice is in preparation.

The roleThe pharmacist will build Prvnt's pharmacy from the start and answer for every medicine a member receives. That covers IV therapy, peptide medicines, hormones, prescription drugs and supplements, given at the clinic, at partner sites and in members' homes.




Accountability runs from purchase to administration: whether a product may legally be used, where it came from, and how it was stored and prepared. It extends to whether the dose suits the person receiving it, and whether the records would hold up in an unannounced inspection.
The pharmacist will be the registered pharmacist in charge on Prvnt's drug licences. As the partner network grows, the role recruits and trains a pharmacist for each site.

What the work involvesThe work falls into the areas below, with IV therapy, peptide medicines and medication review taking the largest share.

IV therapy• Owns the IV formulary, which holds only injectables approved in India and bought through licensed distributors.
• Keeps cosmetic and “nutraceutical” injections off the formulary, and withdraws a product the day its regulatory status changes.
