About the Role
The Area Sales Manager oversees sales in an assigned territory: finding new business, managing existing customers, and promoting corrugated box products and related components. You will visit clients, understand their packaging needs, prepare quotations, negotiate terms, and coordinate with production and logistics for accurate, timely order fulfilment. You will also track sales performance, report market trends, take part in pricing and sales strategy discussions, support credit control and collections where required, and represent the company at industry events when needed.
Qualifications




• Proven experience in field sales, business development or account management, preferably in packaging, manufacturing or industrial products
• Strong customer relationship management, negotiation and territory planning skills, with a record of meeting or exceeding targets
• Ability to understand the technical and commercial side of corrugated boxes and allied components
• Competence in sales reporting, CRM or sales tracking tools, and documents such as quotations and contracts
• Good written and spoken communication in English and local languages
• Comfortable travelling within the Greater Aurangabad Area to visit clients and prospects
• Bachelor's degree or diploma in Business, Marketing, Engineering or a related field preferred; relevant experience can substitute
• Self-motivated, organised, and able to work independently and with cross-functional teams
• Knowledge of the local market and prior B2B
