Role Overview
The Business Development Manager is responsible for driving sales growth, expanding market presence, and building robust relationships with clients in industries such as construction, automotive, industrial coatings, and decorative paints.

Key Responsibilities
1. Market Development & Sales Growth
• Identify new business opportunities in segments like construction, infrastructure, automotive, and industrial coatings
• Develop and execute sales strategies to achieve revenue targets
• Analyze market trends, competitor activity, and customer needs

2. Client Acquisition & Relationship Management
• Build and maintain relationships with contractors, architects, OEMs, distributors, and dealers
• Conduct regular client visits and presentations
• Negotiate contracts, pricing, and supply agreements

3. Product Promotion & Technical Selling
• Promote product range (decorative paints, industrial coatings, protective coatings, etc.)
• Provide technical guidance on product application and performance
• Coordinate with R&D; or technical teams for customized solutions

Channel Development
• Appoint and manage distributors, dealers, and applicators
• Expand distribution network in assigned territory
• Monitor dealer performance and support them with marketing initiatives

5. Project & Key Account Management
• Track large projects (real estate, infrastructure, industrial plants)
• Work with consultants, architects, and project managers
• Ensure timely supply and customer satisfaction

6. Reporting & Forecasting
• Prepare sales forecasts, budgets, and MIS reports
• Track KPIs like sales volume, margins, and market share
• Use CRM tools to manage pipeline and customer data
