At GameGenesis, we're looking for a creative and analytical Game Designer Intern to help turn ideas into engaging gameplay experiences.
You'll work closely with developers, artists, level designers, and writers to design gameplay mechanics, systems, progression, and player experiences. If you're someone who constantly asks “What would make this game more fun?”, we'd love to have you on the team.

Your Mission
- Design and document engaging gameplay mechanics and systems.
- Develop game concepts, gameplay loops, objectives, and player progression.
- Create and maintain clear Game Design Documents (GDDs).
- Design challenges, rewards, abilities, interactions, and game rules.
- Balance gameplay difficulty, progression, and player engagement.
- Work with level designers to connect mechanics with game environments.
- Collaborate with programmers and artists to turn design ideas into playable features.
- Create gameplay prototypes and iterate based on playtesting.
- Analyze playtest feedback and identify areas for improvement.
- Research games, player behavior, and industry trends for new ideas.
- Clearly communicate gameplay requirements to the development team.
