Role Summary

We are looking for an experienced Assistant Facility Manager to manage end-to-end housekeeping operations across hospital, academic, hostel and campus facilities, ensuring high standards of cleanliness, hygiene, infection control and operational discipline.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage housekeeping operations, manpower, rosters, SOPs, checklists, equipment and consumables.
• Ensure cleanliness, hygiene, infection control and biomedical waste segregation compliance.
• Conduct audits and inspections and drive corrective actions.
• Monitor KPIs and support NABH/other accreditation requirements.
• Lead and manage supervisors, housekeeping staff and outsourced vendor teams.
• Train teams on cleaning techniques, infection control, chemical safety and PPE.
• Manage housekeeping vendors, SLAs, statutory compliance and billing validation.
• Coordinate with hospital administration, departments and hostel teams to resolve complaints.
• Prepare and submit regular MIS reports.





Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Hotel Management, Hospitality, Facility Management or related field.
• Diploma/PG Diploma in Facility Management is an advantage.
• 5–8 years of experience in housekeeping/facility management.
• 2–3 years of supervisory or managerial experience.
• Hospital or institutional campus experience preferred.
• Solid knowledge of housekeeping, infection control and biomedical waste handling.
• Familiarity with NABH/NAAC standards and audit processes.
• Good leadership, planning and conflict-resolution skills.
• MS Office and basic MIS reporting knowledge.
• Fluency in English and Kannada; Hindi/Tulu/Konkani is an added advantage.
• Willingness to work in shifts.
