Position Summary
Slick Blinds is looking for a Product Engineer with a mechanical engineering background to support the design, specification, and quality of its window covering product range, including blinds, shades, and shutters. This role sits at the intersection of product development, manufacturing, and vendor management, based out of the Hyderabad office, and plays a key part in ensuring products are engineered correctly before they reach production and customers.
Key Responsibilities
* Support the design and technical specification of window covering products, including blinds, shades, and exterior shutters
* Translate product and design requirements into detailed technical drawings and specifications for manufacturing
* Work directly with vendors and manufacturing partners to review production feasibility and resolve engineering issues
*Conduct quality checks on samples and production runs, flagging deviations from specification • Troubleshoot product defects or field issues and recommend engineering fixes or design improvements
*Maintain organized technical documentation for all products, including revisions and version history * *Coordinate with the sourcing, operations, and marketing teams on product related requirements and timelines
* Support recent product development from concept through to production ready specification
Required Qualifications
• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or a closely related field
• Hands on experience with product design, technical specification, or manufacturing engineering
• Ability to read, create, and review technical drawings and specifications

• Based in Hyderabad and able to work from the office
Preferred Qualifications
• Experience in the window coverings, furniture, or home goods manufacturing industry
• Working knowledge of AutoCAD or similar CAD software for technical drawing and specification work
