PRT Science
Key Responsibilities
• Teach Science to students at the Primary level (Classes 1–5) as per the CBSE curriculum.
• Plan and deliver engaging, age-appropriate Science lessons using activity-based and experiential learning methods.
• Cover concepts related to EVS/Science, Living and Non-Living Things, Plants and Animals, Human Body, Food and Nutrition, Environment, Matter, Force, Energy, and Everyday Science as per the prescribed curriculum.
• Conduct practical activities, experiments, demonstrations, and hands-on learning experiences to develop scientific curiosity among students.
• Assess students’ learning through classwork, worksheets, activities, tests, and periodic assessments.
• Identify individual learning needs and provide appropriate support and reinforcement.
• Maintain a positive, inclusive, and disciplined classroom environment.
• Prepare lesson plans, teaching resources, worksheets,



and other instructional materials.
• Encourage students to develop observation, questioning, critical-thinking, and problem-solving skills.
• Maintain students’ academic records and provide regular feedback on their progress.
• Participate in school events, co-curricular activities, PTMs, and other academic responsibilities as required.

Required Qualification
• Bachelor’s Degree in Science / relevant subject from a recognized university.
• B.Ed. or equivalent teacher-training qualification.
• Prior experience teaching Science/EVS at the Primary level in a CBSE school is preferred.
• Robust communication and classroom-management skills.
• Good command of English and the ability to make Science concepts simple and engaging for young learners.
