In addition, Kantilal Patel & Co. offers due diligence, corporate law and securities law advisory, as well as litigation support, giving team members exposure to diverse and complex assignments.
Role Description The Tax Assistant is a full-time, on-site role based in Ahmedabad. The role involves assisting with preparation and review of direct and indirect tax returns, supporting tax computations, and helping maintain accurate tax records and documentation. The Tax Assistant will work closely with senior team members to gather and analyze financial data, support tax assessments and audits,



and assist in preparing working papers and reports. Daily responsibilities also include coordinating with clients for information, updating internal tax files and databases, and staying informed about relevant tax laws and regulatory changes to ensure compliance.
Qualifications
• Ability to perform Tax Preparation and support basic Tax computations in line with applicable regulations.
• Proficiency in using Accounting Software for recording, reconciling, and extracting financial data.
• Knowledge of Payroll Administration processes, including tax and statutory deductions.
• Understanding of Financial Statements and their use in tax and compliance work.
• Strong analytical and numerical skills with attention to detail and accuracy.
• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Commerce, or a related field; pursuing or completed skilled qualifications (e.g., CA, CMA) is an advantage.
