Role Description
We are looking for a driven and results-oriented Business Development Specialist to join our growing team. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience in a marketing or digital agency workplace and a proven ability to identify, pitch, and close new business opportunities.
Key Responsibilities
• Identify and prospect new clients through cold outreach, networking, LinkedIn, and referrals




• Pitch Lean Hippo's marketing services to potential clients and manage the end-to-end sales cycle
• Prepare proposals, presentations, and service decks tailored to client needs
• Meet and exceed monthly and quarterly revenue targets
• Build and maintain strong relationships with existing clients to drive upsell and retention
• Coordinate with internal teams (creative, digital, strategy) to ensure seamless client onboarding
• Maintain an updated pipeline and provide regular reports to management
• Stay updated on market trends, competitor activity, and industry developments

Requirements
• 2 years of experience in business development or sales, preferably in a marketing, digital, or advertising agency
• Strong communication, negotiation, and presentation skills
• Comfortable with outbound sales and cold calling
• Familiarity with digital marketing services (SEO, social media, paid ads, content) is a strong advantage
• Proficiency
