Role Description The Sales Executive role at FURNITURE ISLAND is a full-time, on-site position based in Surat. The Sales Executive will greet customers, understand their furniture needs, and provide product recommendations that align with style, budget, and space requirements. Daily responsibilities include explaining product features, prices, and promotions, preparing quotations, processing orders and invoices,



and coordinating with the delivery team to ensure smooth fulfillment. The role involves maintaining the showroom layout, ensuring items are well-presented, and keeping product information up to date. The Sales Executive will also follow up with leads, handle basic customer queries and concerns, and support efforts to meet individual and store sales targets.
Qualifications
• Strong sales and customer service skills, with the ability to build rapport and close sales in a retail setting.
• Good communication and interpersonal skills, including clear spoken English and local language proficiency.
• Basic numeracy and computer skills for handling billing, inventory checks, and simple reporting.
